Isabel Marin from LAUDE El Altillo School admitted to Cardiff university

We are pleased to announce a new success, in this case about Isabel Marin Gamero, student and Head Girl 2014-15 of LAUDE El Altillo School, who has been admitted to the University of Cardiff, Wales, to study “Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences”. We would like to highlight that along with Cambridge University, the Faculty of Pharmacy is considered one of the most prestigious in the UK.

The selection process receives each year about 850 applicants, of which only 120 are finally admitted. This process takes about five months and the assessment includes the student profile, language titles with a minimum requirement of Advanced Certificate in English (Cambridge ESOL), a challenging math test and several personal interviews.

During her brilliant career at the school she has achieved, among others, the Award of Academic Excellence in Secondary, a scholarship of  Campus Scientist awarded by the Ministry of Education and Science, an average of 10 in the first year of Baccalaureate, the C1 and Trinity 12 (C2) in English, B1 I French leading to B2 next June. She was also involved in and actively participated in most of the volunteer work projects that the school offers.

We lack adjectives to talk about this excellent student and a great person. Definitely, a great example to be followed by our students.

Congratulations Isabel!
