European scholarships (Becas Europa) are a unique initiative within the European university context, promoted by public and private institutions and aimed at all pre-university students in Spain. The initiative aims to reward and encourage the talents of pre-university students, promote a deep and committed idea of what it means be a university student, and to facilitate the participation of future undergraduates in the debate about the mission of the university in Europe, which is now going through a process of merger. It also promotes young students’ commitment towards their own training and the development of what will be their universities in the future, and helps students create networks in Europe.
The School has obtained, as in previous years, students with the best academic record in each of the baccalaureate modalities. On this occasion, there were seven students who received a grade 10 in their results for 4th year Secondary education and it was therefore necessary to turn to their grades in the first evaluation in the 1st year of Baccalaureate to be able select our three candidates:
Social Sciences Modality: Mercedes Castro Baeza
Science Modality (Health): Laura Ramírez Finn
Science Modality (Engineering): Sara Álvaro Martínez
We wish them all the very best of luck in this long selection process.
