28th January 16
Between 17th and 20th January, a large group of 1st year Secondary students, accompanied by two teachers from the school, enjoyed some pleasant days of being with each other in the snow to practice skiing in the Sierra Nevada. Ski lessons, excursions with snow shoes and freestyle skiing with teachers were some of the most popular activities for the students, during a few days stay at a ski resort in Granada which coincided with World Snow Day 2016.
The thirty students achieved their learning objectives required for basic skiing, namely level A + and B + (which involves braking, turning and sliding on green and blue slopes).
They were commended for their good behavior, companionship and keen interest in learning how to ski.
