Cultural events during World Book and Humanities Week

As part of the activities organized by the Arts and Literature Department during World Book and Humanities Week, several excursions and culture tours took place which secondary students were able to enjoy. Students in 1st year of Secondary education spent a day taking part in the educational workshop called ‘un día en el Gades romano’ at the Castle of Santa Catalina in Cádiz; Students in 2nd year of Secondary travelled to the town of San Fernando, where they visited the Pantheon of Illustrious Sailors and the Botanical Gardens in this city; 3rd year Secondary students went to the beach in the municipal district of Tarifa, where they enjoyed a guided tour of the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Baelo Claudia; and 4th year secondary students spent a day visiting the archaeological site of Italica, Santiponce in the province of Seville.
