As part of World Book and Humanities Week, for another academic year a large group of Secondary and Baccalaureate students from the Poetry Workshop, led with the strong character and expertise of their teacher, Marisa Rubio, are back again with their performances which show us signs of their exquisite taste and demonstrate the emotion and brilliance that music and poetry can elicit when interpreted with so much love and so much sensitivity.
Around the figure of Rubén Darío, students recited verses written by the genius of Modernism as well as poems by Juan Ramón Jiménez and Antonio Machado among many others. The symbolist poetry of Verlaine was also recited along with a special tribute to the fourth centenary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes.
Congratulations to everyone on another academic year of even more success!
