My last few months have been a true reflection of what 2nd grade Baccalaureate pupils feel during this last academic year of their school days: doubts, oppression, uncertainty…
To close my university stage I decided to look for a Master’s degree which would allow me to develop everything that large companies are looking for today: capacity for innovation, entrepreneurship, teamwork, leadership, and above all, emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills. After several months collecting information and evaluating alternatives I opted for applying for admission in the IE Business School – a prestigious institution recognized at a world level and with a wide network of contacts.
The admission process was not easy at all: reading comprehension in a business scope exam, mathematics, psychotechnical exams, personality test, handing in essays, presentations and a final interview. Of course, all this was in English. Months later I can happily say I am immersed in a very intense and practical programme; with a diverse environment (more than 108 nationalities on the campus); and with a wide international perspective. From the capital I encourage all the pupils at LAUDE El Altillo School to take advantage of their time at school as they are students with an important advantage of differentiation and with a great projection for the organizations. In particular I wish all the best for 2nd Baccalaureate student during this important year for them and remind them that the passion with which things are done and perseverance are the keys to success.
