Jessica talks about China

22nd November 17

Communication has always been an important part of our society, but we often forget that our way of communicating is not the only nor the most important! China has an incredible way of writing which the children learnt is very difficult.

Jessica taught the children that the Chinese don’t have our “traditional” alphabet, nor do they write from left to right but from top to bottom. The kids were fascinated by how many people live in China and how long the Great Wall of China is and how they stuck the bricks together  (with rice!) The best thing about this talk was that the kids really saw and understood more about their Chinese peers.

Thank you very much Jessica for your visit! It was very interesting!
