12th October 18
On October 3rd the “Spanish Red Cross Little Flag Day” took place in our city and our pupils wished to take part in the project. Students from 1st year Baccalaureate collaborated with Red Cross in collecting relief funds as part of the International Baccalaureate volunteer work from the CAS Project.
As a result we have received some grateful words of thanks from the coordinator of this activity, and we would like to share them with you all, valuing the generosity of our pupils and their commitment to taking part in social projects, leaving a record of the importance the School gives to educating in values.
We leave the words of thanks with you below:
I am attaching photos of the composition of all the wishes of the children who have participated thanks to your collaboration.
Many people have read these wishes which without doubt are filled with solidarity for other disadvantaged children
This result is, thanks to you, to all the boys and girls who have participated with their messages and to the group of meinas, minor non accompanied immigrants, who have collaborated both with preparing the cards and envelopes as with the compositon of desires and even made their own composition with a half moon to be with everybody else. Today infants and young people have been present in one way or another
It has been a beautiful activity, with great depth and a great result in which you have no doubt had an important role.
We are preparing the diplomas and finishing the recounts and we hope to hand everything over together with the compositions as soon as possible.
We congratulate our students once more for their commitment and collaboration with this sort of project.
Many thanks to you all!
